Scene 8Locked

Walking & movement

Stiffness comes from holding still. Movement is the cure: a walk, a turn, a hand through the hair. You're not catching a lucky candid — you're manufacturing one on purpose, then bursting through it.

A woman walking toward the camera mid-stride, hair and coat in motion, a relaxed natural expression.

The usual miss

"Stand there, look here, smile" — and her whole body locks up. Shoulders rise, the smile turns into a held breath, the arms go wooden. It's not that she's bad in photos; it's that standing perfectly still while being stared at by a lens is genuinely hard for anyone who isn't a model. The fix isn't a better pose. It's motion.
